Construction Site Safety Training
This program is 42 hours from 9 to 5pm classroom instruction. Students will learn Construction Safety Training (SST) and OSHA 30 that provides them with an understanding on recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. In the course, students develop a deeper understanding of occupational health and safety through this extensive safety program to earn credentials needed for employment placement. In addition, they will gain skills in flagger training.Upon completion, students will receive certificates of the course and credentials in OSHA 30, Construction Site Safety, and flagger training. They will also receive work equipment (hard hat, vest, googles). Students will then work with our Workforce Director for interview preparation and scheduling for job placement support.
Security Guard with Fire Guard Prep. Training
​This is a 25 hour Security Guard Training with Fire Guard Test Prep, it consist of a 8 hour Pre-Assignment and 16 hours of On-The-Job Training (O.J.T.) training and 1 hour Fire Guard Test Prep. The Eight Hour Pre-Assignment Training Course for Security Guards is a requirement for all individuals seeking employment as security guards in New York State. The design of this program is mandatory and required by NYS Division of Criminal Justice and FDNY. Upon completion of training, school will issue the completion of certificate to students. 16-Hour On-The-Job Training (O.J.T.) Certificate Within the first 90 days of working as a security guard, state law requires completion of the 16-hour on the job training (O.J.T.) training classes. The O.J.T. objectives expand upon topics relating to basic functions and responsibilities. All subjects are consistent with the security guard's specific duties, the nature of the workplace and employer requirements. Topics covered in these courses include the role of the security guard, legal powers and limitations, emergency situations, communications and public relations, access control, ethics and conduct, incident command system, and terrorism.

Fire Guard Test Prep is preparing the students to pass the fire guard (F-02) exams, it is NOT required to become a security guard in NYS but is desired by many employers to have licensed guards that have fire guard certification. The class includes background check and fingerprinting, DOS registration, Fireguard registration Fees for fire guard exam fee (FDNY).
Security Guard Renewal
​The Renewal Course includes two 8 hour pre-assignment training courses according to the requirements of the NYS Department of Criminal Justice Division. Costs for Fingerprinting and Background checks will be included.
What Sets Us Apart
Upon completion, students will receive certificates of the course and credentials in their chosen field. Once Students have credentials and/or license they will meet with our Workforce Director for interview preparation and scheduling for job placement support.
